Indiana refinery woes may hike gas prices by 30 cents-$1

Gas prices in the Midwest could surge from 30 cents to a dollar because of a key refinery shutdown in Indiana. BP's refinery in Whiting is having problems with its largest crude distillation unit, which handles more than half of the facility's capacity, according to Patrick DeHaan, senior petroleum analyst with GasBuddy.com. The refinery is the seventh largest in the U.S. and biggest in the Midwest, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration's website. Its operable capacity is 413,500 barrels per calendar day. "Almost immediately, market gasoline prices shot up on the concerns of reduced gasoline supply from the BP refinery," DeHaan said in a written statement, estimating a 15- to 30-cent increase. Other analysts said the increase could be up to a dollar per gallon in just a week. The national average price per gallon is now up 1.9 cents from Tuesday's average of $2.582, GasBuddy.com reported. THIS AIN'T NO NINIVE!

And the Lord rained upon Sodom and Gomorrha brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven. And he destroyed these cities, and all the country about, all the inhabitants of the cities, and all things that spring from the earth. Gn

  1. Thank You. There are other true biblical texts that should be taken as a warning.
Be angry and sin not ... but vengeance from the Most High surly will come, leaders
take council against Yah and his people ... and he laughs at them.
I was hoping to forward this to some who say the prices goes up so fracking losses can
be paid for ... tilt ... anyway if the article didn't have the poor language it would
appear more credible. So I can't forward the link.
